MExE -> Resources and Links

The Stage 1 description of MExE is GSM 02.57 and is available from www.etsi.org

Interested readers can collect more information on MExE by visiting: www.3GPP.org. The 3G Partnership Project is now responsible for developing the MExE standards. The Open Services Architecture specification is also published the 3Gpp and contains a good vision of where applications engines are evolving.

There are also several zip files on the 3GPP website such as the MExE functional description of Stage 2 (3G TS 23.057 version 1.1.1). This is a working draft of the Stage but contains a detailed description of MExE and its relations to WAP and Java.
